What inspired me for this profession ?
There are very famous sayings and philosophy that - You must love what you do.
And there is no argument on that. Just see for an example, how most of the job goers (who typically work from 9 AM to 5 PM, for someone else, not self employed) always whine about going to work or the work itself that feeds them and their family. Of course not all of them do that. The ones who don’t, we assume, must be loving what they are doing and the ones who constantly do, we don’t need to say.
So, what inspired me for this profession? I just fell in love when I first got to know about it. I didn’t know at that time how risky it is, how hard it is, how much time I have to devote in learning the ropes, and despite all and at last there is no such thing as guaranteed success in this. But one thing I instantly realized then that it can give me Freedom. Freedom, to work my own schedules. Freedom, I don’t have to take orders from others just to please them. Freedom, if someday I were to become successful, financially. Freedom of unlimited growth(earning) potential.
The path has been pretty hard. It might not be over yet. One is always learning until. But this quote helped me keep my eyes up at times I was pretty much done with it - “How much money and time would you invest for a career that can eventually pay you beyond your expectations”. I don’t know how many of us think it that way, but, just imagine. School, High School, College and Universities ; all sorts of training and certifications. Everyone is investing time and money to learn a set of skills which later become professions like Doctors, Engineers, Pilots, Nurses, Legal Advisers, Administrators, Bankers, and likewise. So, getting things right as a Professional Trader as well will take your time, hard work, some money. But if you stay on the path, get things right you will get there.
I will discuss the famous 5 Stages Becoming a Successful Trader in my next blog.
